Jazzmyne Walker
As the nurse administrator at Clackamas Community College, Jazzy brings knowledge and experience in leadership and critical care. Jazzy is passionate about efforts to strengthen communities and build positive relationships. She is committed to diversion, equity and inclusion and actively engages in opportunities to increase diversity in nursing. Jazzy joined the Billi Odegaard Scholarship Fund as a board member in 2023 and is passionate about helping students achieve their goals.
Jazzy became part of Clackamas Community College in September 2022 from the OHSU critical care cardiac ICU with previous experience in neuroscience, mental health, and substance abuse. She also served as the Director of Nursing at Vibra Specialty Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Jazzy was an active member of the Oregon Nurses Association as co-chair of the Equity and Inclusion Committee and as a Political Action Committee board member. OHSU/ONA elected her to serve on the Professional Nurse Practice Committee. She is an active board member of the Oregon Center for Nursing.
She is working on a master's degree in Public Administration at Post University. She completed her bachelor's degree in nursing at American Sentinel University and her associate's degree in nursing at Galen College of Nursing.
